The Medaille Trust

The Medaille Trust, founded by Religious in 2006, works to fight human trafficking.  It is a significant provider of safe house provision for victims in the UK. Its services consist of seven safe houses including a family centre. These houses deal with adult victims of both genders and their dependents.  The services offer a range of support from low to high level needs and second stage move on accommodation.

The Trust has an active programme of education and awareness training reaching out to schools, parishes and other groups supported by a network of Diocesan representatives. Where the Trust feels it has experience or knowledge that should be heard, it engages in campaigning and lobbying.  The Medaille Trust partners with a Salesian project in Kenya on a prevention of trafficking, and is in partnership with Mary Ward Loreto in Albania on anti-trafficking projects. The Trust also acts as co-ordinator for the Police sponsored Hampshire Anti-Trafficking Partnership.
