CAFOD (Catholic Agency for Overseas Development)

CAFOD is the official aid agency of the Catholic Church in England and Wales. We help poor communities across the world to access safe drinking water, education, healthcare, shelter and the tools and training they need to work their way out of poverty and overcome injustice. We also supply emergency aid to the victims of natural disasters and conflict; providing long-term support as they rebuild their homes and lives. We believe that every man, woman and child matters. By working with trusted local organisations we can deliver help where and when it’s most needed and, with the Catholic community’s support, we campaign against the unjust laws and systems that keep people trapped in poverty. Gifts in wills fund one in eight of all our vital projects, saving and changing lives every day. Please remember CAFOD in your will and help us create a better world for all of God’s children.
